Good afternoon and welcome to Hough Custom Homes. Our business was started back in 1952 by General Contractor Bernie Hough who employed his then 12-year-old son Lin during summer vacations. In 1975, Lin joined the firm full-time, working shoulder to shoulder with their specially selected crew of master craftsmen, building the Hough name and what it symbolizes, one custom built home at a time.

From excavation through masonry, framing, roofing, siding, electrical, plumbing, drywall, finish trim, and custom cabinetry, the Hough’s are involved in every last detail. For nearly 60 years and hundreds of new homes, the Hough name has been synonymous with the highest quality construction on the shores and hillsides of Keuka Lake and the surrounding areas.
